These dogs make wonderful guide dogs, are a comfort for respite patients, and are devoted companions. Goldens train easily and basically love doing whatever you're doing - hiking, swimming, playing frisbee, or sitting on the couch.
English Cream Goldens have a lower energy, but love to play. Their hunting drive is much lower than American Goldens, who are higher energy and great at hunting.
This breed's gentle temperament is what sets them apart.
To maintain top mental and physical health, dogs should be reared in a non-kennel environment. All of our dogs are allowed daily off-leash time to exercise, interaction and play with our other dogs, farm animals, and of course, humans. To maintain the quality of our breeding program, we only have a certain number of litters at a time, allowing us to give each puppy the time it needs to be ready for its new home.
